Thoughts on Being a Woman Veteran
I served 22 yrs. and loved almost every minute; I would go back in if they would take me. With 3 extremities out of use they of course wouldn't!
I was always proud to serve and fought for respect when it was necessary.
I loved every minute of it. I had my experiences with the jerks that let me know "If I'm going to be in this man's Navy, you're going to do the same work as everyone else" The idiot, he was preaching to the choir. I was one of the fortunate ones that didn't get sexually harassed nor molested.
