Veterans Day 2011: #iSalute on Twitter

Who can you honor with a salute this Veterans Day? Is it your mom or dad, husband or wife who have served in the military? Maybe it is a sibling or neighbor you wish to call out with a salute. It could be a business or organization who honors veterans that you choose.

Paralyzed Veterans of America invites you to use the hashtag #ISalute on Twitter from now through Veterans Day. Who will you salute today? Here are some examples:

• #isalute John Smith for his service in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam.
• #isalute Pittsburgh for hosting a wonderful National Veterans Wheelchair Games this summer!
• #isalute the men and women of our military currently serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Another way to honor someone this Veterans Day: add your veteran honoree to our Wall of Heroes.
