Paralyzed Veterans of America Education Foundation Awards FY2011 Grants to Foster Spinal Cord Injury Education

The Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) Education Foundation has announced the FY2011 grant awardees.  The PVA Education Foundation supports the development of tools that share spinal cord injury and disease (SCI/D) knowledge and improve the lives of those with SCI/D. 

Out of the 22 applications the PVA Education Foundation’s Board of Directors received, eight new grants were awarded, totaling $257,938 in funding. Grants were awarded in four different categories: consumer, caregiver, and community education; professional development and education; research utilization and dissemination; and conferences and symposia.
