Our Veterans Benefits Department's Field Services program provides training, support, and management of 69 National Service Offices throughout the nation and Puerto Rico. We assist veterans and their families through every stage of VA's claim process from initial development to preparing appeals. We provide technical assistance for VA regulation review and offer training and support to VA staff at every opportunity.
VBD's field staff visit disabled vets in the Department of Veterans Affairs' 153 VA Medical Centers as well as in the private sector. We assist the Medical Services Department in monitoring health care services and directly advocate for our members and other veterans.
