Shooting Sports

Paralyzed Veterans of America supports shooting and hunting activities for people living with spinal cord injury and disease (SCI/D) in many ways:

• Spearheading passage of the Disabled Sportsmen's Access Act of 1998
• Furthering the 37 Action Points of the 2000 National Shooting Sports Foundation Summit
• Donating adaptive outdoor equipment to military installations and state wildlife agencies
• Organizing shooting events nationwide

PVA National Trapshoot Circuit

Here shooters with disabilities and able-bodied shooters compete as equals in the recreational and competitive sport of trapshooting— shooting at clay targets hurled upward to simulate the flight of a bird.
