JOB LOCATION: WASHINGTON, DC
TITLE: Production Manager

SUPERVISOR:

Director of Direct Marketing

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Position will be responsible for initiating and reviewing vendor bids, securing production vendors, and overseeing the production and delivery of over 100 million pieces of mail annually. The selected candidate will also secure competitive bids for assigned mailings, evaluate cost estimates and analyze results compared to the program budget. The candidate will also manage the production of each mailing from after the creative components are handed off for production until the mail packages reach the mailbox. This will include the processing, tracking, and analysis of all mail programs.
REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree and five years of direct marketing experience is required. Selected candidate must understand and have experience working in a fundraising environment. Candidate must have initiative, enjoy working in a fast paced environment, and have the ability to multi-task. The candidate must be a team player, possess good computer skills (including advanced proficiency in Excel), and have good organizational and analytical skills. Some travel may be required.

Associate Executive Director of Medical Services/Health Policy

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The incumbent will assist in fulfilling Paralyzed Veterans of America’s mission by providing professional expertise in the field of architecture.
REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in architecture, licensed, with a minimum of 3-5 years professional architectural experience. The selected candidate must be knowledgeable, articulate, and a motivated self starter. The incumbent shall have thorough knowledge of accessibility codes and standards.

TITLE: National Service Officer
DEPARTMENT: Veterans Benefits
SUPERVISOR: Region Director
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities entail the selected individual to represent veterans and their dependents with claims processing/development before the Department of Veterans Affairs. The position includes familiarity with a full range of laws and regulations dealing with Veterans Benefits.
REQUIREMENTS: The selected candidate will have excellent written/oral communication skills, interpersonal skills and good computer skills. Prior management experience desirable. Prior experience as a National Service Officer in a veterans’ service organization is preferred. The candidate must also obtain and maintain VA accreditation. Honorably discharged veteran preferred but not required.

TITLE: Veterans Health & Benefit Specialist
DEPARTMENT: Veterans Benefits
SUPERVISOR: Region Director
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities entail the selected individual to represent, counsel and provide support to veterans and their dependents on all aspects of benefits and health care before the Department of Veterans Affairs.   This includes claim development, clinical appeals, and medical monitoring.  The position includes familiarity with a full range of laws and regulations dealing with Veterans Benefits.
REQUIREMENTS:

The selected candidate will have excellent written/oral communication skills, interpersonal skills and good computer skills. Prior experience as a National Service Officer in a veterans’ service organization is preferred. Candidates with experience in health care advocacy and/or direct delivery of health services (e.g. nurse, medic, corpsman, social worker) will receive priority consideration. The candidate must also obtain and maintain VA accreditation. Honorably discharged veteran preferred but not required.
