The Kings' Cup Go-Kart Event

Event Time: 4:00 pm 9:30 pm

Race Time:    
1st qualifying race:  5:00 pm 6:00 pm
2nd qualifying race:  6:15 pm 7:15 pm
Shootout event to determine winner:  7:30 pm 9:00 pm

Victory Lane Indoor Karting, 2300 Tipton Drive, Charlotte, NC 28206

Event Format:
30 teams compete; two 1-hour heat races to determine the 16 team shootout field; Last race will be a 1.5-hour race with 16 qualifiers total; Each team will be comprised of six drivers; all drivers will be required to complete at least 1 segment.

Who:  
Join the Paralyzed Veterans and “the presenting partner,” along with NASCAR drivers and racing enthusiasts, in a friendly go-karting endurance competition, to raise funds and awareness for Paralyzed Veterans of America. 


Paralyzed Veterans Mission:  
The Paralyzed Veterans of America is the only congressionally chartered veterans services organization dedicated solely to the benefit and representation of veterans with spinal cord injuries or spinal cord disease. Their mission is to provide both physical and vocational rehabilitation and legal services (veteran’s affairs) as well as assist in the removal of structural barriers in public and private facilities for paralyzed citizens.
