Paralyzed Veterans of America Scholarship Program
The Paralyzed Veterans of America (Paralyzed Veterans) originally founded the scholarship program in 1986, and since that time, has awarded over $300,000 in scholarships. This program was originally devised to provide some financial reprieve for Paralyzed Veterans members and their families so that they may achieve their goals in the academic arena. The result of this competitive process is a monetary scholarship to assist them in reaching their post-secondary educational goals.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be either Paralyzed Veterans members, the spouse of a Paralyzed Veterans member, or an unmarried child under 24 years of age who is dependent (as defined by the IRS) on the member for principal support.
