A VETERAN'S RIGHT TO WORK
When our wounded heroes return home, Paralyzed Veterans of America is committed to helping them enjoy the high quality of life they deserve - including the pride and independence that come from holding a meaningful job. But too many struggle to re-enter the workforce because employers don't understand that veterans with disabilities are a diverse labor pool with a wide range of experience who are capable of meeting or exceeding performance standards.
In 2007, Operation PAVE was launched to help more paralyzed veterans overcome these obstacles and achieve fulfilling employment. And since PAVE counselors are partners for life, veterans and their families aren't just finding employment, they're keeping it.
