Paralyzed Veterans of America’s (PVA) Veterans Career Program is honored to partner with Excelsior University to bring practical adult education directly to members of the military community. Excelsior University, a not-for-profit, accredited online institution, helps students earn their associates, bachelor’s, or master’s degree from the comfort of their own home. No matter how busy you are, you can fit education into your life through Excelsior University’s online programs that include degrees in business, liberal arts, healthcare and nursing, technology, and public service. With Excelsior’s generous transfer credit policy, PVA students have the ability to transfer in credit for more than 90% of most bachelor’s degrees; and can use military experience and previously earned college credits to help expedite degree attainment.

The Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program was created in 1992 with a dual mission 1) to provide assistance to unrepresented veterans or their family members who have filed appeals at the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (Court); and 2) to recruit and train attorneys in the then fledgling field of veterans’ law.
